Sony Music Entertainment has come up with a new series of compilation albums, where the music ranges from pop to rock to jazz. The Pure… series comes with four discs per collection and instead of covering a particular genre, each one set consists of different music styles. There’s the Pure… Drive, which contains a selection of soothing drive-time tunes, Pure… 60s, a compilation of hits from the 1960s, Pure… 50s and Pure…70s.
Currently there are seven selections in the series, including Pure… Alternative 80s, Pure… Guitar Legends and Pure… Love. Ranging from hard rock to psychedelic rock, from disco funk to gospel, there’s definitely something for everyone in this collection. The albums actually make for a great gift to anyone with a love for music.

Soundtrack to Victorious
Sony Music

Fans of the teen sitcom Victorious can now sing along to some of the tunes that have been featured on the popular Nickelodeon show. The 12-track CD features music from the show’s first and second seasons. One of the songs is Leave It All To Shine, which was taken from the crossover episode with another Nickelodeon hit series, iCarly.
Almost all of the tracks on this album feature the show’s star, Victoria Justice, with appearances by her co-stars Leon Thomas III, Elizabeth Gillies and Ariana Grande. The album is everything you’d expect from a TV series set in a performance art high school. Mainly pop and dance-heavy, the music talks of typical teenage woes that range from romantic crushes to jealousy.
