THEY are one of the most liked pop-punk bands in the music scene currently, and they have chosen Malaysia as their next concert destination.

The boys of All Time Low are set to perform at the upcoming Rockaway Festival 2011 at Carpark A of the Bukit Jalil National Sports Complex in Kuala Lumpur, and they promise one heck of a good show for their fans here. Now, isn’t that awesome?

Formed in 2003, All Time Low is not your regular garage band as it has built a strong number of followers over the years – despite getting very little radio airplay.

All Time Low will be performing at the upcoming Rockaway Festival 2011

The band is made up of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Alex Gaskarth, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Jack Barakat, bassist Zachary Merrick and drummer Rian Dawson.

And if you think that they had a hard time coming up with the name for their band, think again. The boys sought for the name no further than the lyrics to their favourite songs – “All Time Low” was taken from the lyrics to New Found Glory’s Head On Collision!

The boys have now become one of the biggest pop-punk bands in the United States and their fame shows that they simply know how to deliver the goods.
That talent is apparent on their fourth studio album Dirty Work; many of the songs you will probably get to listen at the Rockaway Festival 2011 this Saturday will be taken from Dirty Work.

Joining All Time Low at the festival are hardcore rock band The Used, and a string of local acts including One Buck Short, which spearheaded the Rockaway project. The festival will also see the launch of One Buck Short’s first full-length Bahasa Malaysia album titled Kampong Glam.

Other bands and artistes who will be performing at Rockaway include Metalasia, Love Me Butch, Monoloque, LO, Hujan, Kyoto Protocol, Pop Shuvit and Project E.A.R, Deja Voodoo Spells, Oh Chentaku and Twilight ActionGirl.

You’d be crazy to not want to be at Rockaway Festival 2011 and get lost in all that madness!
