AS you may know, Urbanscapes is more than just a big concert – it’s a multi-arts festival that features everything from music to visual arts.

And this year, R.AGE is giving one talented young Malaysian artist (below 30) the chance to have his/her art featured at the festival!

It’s easy – all you have to do is design a scaled-down version of a mural based on the theme “A Moderate Malaysia” and email the design to us. If our judges like what they see, you’ll be the lucky winner who’ll get to set-up the mural on-site at Urbanscapes.

On top of that, you and your work will be featured right here in R.AGE, and you’ll get the opportunity to help design a special edition of R.AGE!

But even if you don’t win the grand prize, you can still walk away with some Urbanscapes passes if you make it to the top five. That means you’ll get to watch acts like Kimbra, Local Natives, The Lemonheads, Najwa, OJ Law and many more.

All entries will be judged by artists Jojo Yusuf and TRUSK (no strangers to the local art scene), as well as our very own R.AGE editor Ian Yee.

For more information on the contest (including the dimensions of the mural), go to rage.com.my/urbanscapes2014. Deadline for submissions is Nov 18.
