ANIMATED pair Beavis and Butt-head are returning to MTV Asia! The dim-witted, rock music-loving teenage duo have been absent from television for 14 years but the recently revived show proves they haven’t grown up, and they’ve still got the comedic chops to entertain a younger audience (and nostalgic older fans).

Fans of the original series which first aired from 1992 to 1997 will remember familiar lines like “heh-heh-heh”, “this sucks! Uh huh huh” and “cool” as Beavis and Butt-head return to their TV-watching and mischief-making ways in their hometown of Highland, Texas.

Watch them snigger at and make barely appropriate comments on music videos, movies and reality shows like Jersey Shore and 16 And Pregnant while also spending their time making desperate attempts at “scoring” with girls.

Beavis and Butt-head are back

There’s no shortage of mischief either, as the pair go on unlikely adventures like attempts at turning into vampires so that girls will notice them and accidentaly taking control of military drones, thinking they were video games.

Be mindful though, that Mike Judge’s Beavis And Butt-head is something of an acquired taste – despite the plots being obviously intended as satire, their childish and often rude behaviour may not sit well with more polished audiences!

Malaysian viewers can catch the show online at mtvasia.com.
