Another week and a new batch of celebrity news from around the world. Celebrities really know how to stay in the limelight, yes?

She won’t stop

Miley Cyrus is not keeping quiet about her controversial VMA performance with Robin Thicke, and the singer says that she wouldn’t have done it any other way.

“Me and Robin (Thicke) the whole time said, ‘You know we’re about to make history right now’,” she said in a documentary for MTV.

The Hannah Montana star was slammed by fans and haters for the over-sexual performance, but Cyrus was quick to defend herself, saying other stars have pushed the boundaries and got away with it.

“I don’t pay attention to the negative because I’ve seen this play out so many times. How many times have we seen this play out in pop music? Madonna’s done it. Britney’s done it. Every VMA performance, that’s what you’re looking for, you’re wanting to make history.”

Sharm says: She made history alright … nobody is going to forget that performance any time soon.

A model singer?

We know that Gisele Bundchen is a supermodel and a business mogul … but is she trying to add “singer” to her resume now?

The beauty sings The Kinks’ song All Day And All Of The Night in a new behind-the-scenes clip for her ad campaign with retail-clothing company H&M and as much as we love to see the Brazilian bombshell, we’re not so sure about hearing her sing.

Gisele’s cover will be available online next week and proceeds from each download will go to UNICEF.

“I love the street style look (of H&M), and that we can raise funds for a good cause. I hope everyone downloads my song!” said Gisele in a statement.

Sharm says: Some people just need to stick to what they know best … just stand there and look pretty Gisele, that’d be enough.

On a break

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is currently on a “break” from her longtime boyfriend Jason Statham.

Why? Apparently because he doesn’t want to put a ring on it … yet.

Rumour has it that the British hunk is taking forever to decide if he wants to marry the bombshell beauty and that indecisiveness is too much for Huntington-Whiteley to handle.

“There is no other person involved. They love each other very much and are not making an announcement because they’re still hoping to work things out. But things have not been good, there have been lots of arguments and they both need some space,” a source said.

The couple have been dating for three years now and have a 19-year age difference between them.
Well, if Statham doesn’t act quickly, there are millions of other guys who would love to take his place.

Sharm says: Single folks, now’s your chance to grab one of the hottest people on earth. Act fast!

Twerkin’ it

Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am is about to give Miley Cyrus a run for her money in the “twerking” department. Still don’t know what twerking is? YouTube it.

The singer wanted to learn the “butt-bouncing” dance properly and actually got someone to teach him how to shake what his mama gave him.

When asked if Cyrus’ VMAs performance had destroyed the popularity of the dance phenomenon, he replied, “What are you talking about, man? I had twerking lessons yesterday.”

Sharm says: As much as will.i.am is awesome, I don’t think the world is ready to see him twerk.
