Set in a war-torn ancient Greece, the movie revolves around young warrior Theseus (Henry Cavill) who leads his men into battle with the immortal Greek Gods and the Titans in order to save mankind.

Mickey Rourke (you’ve seen him in movies like The Wrestler, Iron Man 2) plays villain King Hyperion, Kellan Lutz (from the Twilight franchise) as Poseidon the Lord of the Sea and John Hurt as the earthly manifestation of Zeus – who mentors Theseus.

The beautiful Isabel Lucas plays Athena, daughter of Zeus, who finds her loyalty tested as the war between the Gods and Titans loom.

Directed by Tarsem Singh, Immortals also features Freida Pinto (of Slumdog Millionaire fame) as Phaedra and Stephen Dorff as Stavros, a master thief.
