In conjunction with last Saturday’s Most Amazing (MO.A) Live concert 2011 in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, a meet-the-fans session was held just hours before showtime, where fans of Korean super groups – boy band Super Junior and girl group f(x) – had the chance to get cosy with their favourite idols.

The meet-and-greet session was scheduled to start at 4pm, but many thrilled and excited fans gathered at the venue in the early afternoon as they were eager to meet their favourite idols.

To entertain and loosen up the crowd, emcees Sophia and Yee Pei got the fans to sing a few hit songs by the two groups. The fans obliged and sang Super Junior’s Sorry Sorry, Mr Simple and f(x)’s Hot Summer.

After the opening speech by managing director of LG Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd, H. K. Kwon, the atmosphere was charged with excitement as Super Junior and f(x) came out and greeted their enthusiastic fans.

During the meet-and-greet session, the stars answered a few questions by the emcees. Fans were even more jubilant when f(x)’s frontwoman (who is Chinese), Victoria Song, answered the questions in Mandarin!

South Korean girl group f(x)

It was f(x)’s first time in Malaysia, and the members said that they were happy to be here and perform for their fans. Victoria said that she enjoys having tropical fruits in Malaysia because they are not found in South Korea.

When asked who among the Super Junior members likes to watch TV the most, everyone quickly pointed to Ryeowook. He explained that he watches TV a lot because every time he sees Super Junior on the telly, he feels honoured and thrilled. Ryeowook also revealed that he watches a lot of drama, too.

Super Junior member Yesung expressed that there were many things in Malaysia that he wanted to try but on the top of his list is – Malaysian fans’ love.
The two groups then picked out 10 fans in a lucky draw to come up and take pictures with the Hallyu stars. Everyone who came also received a goodie bag and an autographed poster each.

Super Junior and f(x) performed at the MO.A Live concert later on, which was held in Kelana Jaya Stadium in PJ, alongside Miss A and rookie idol group B1A4.
