UH-OH girls, sharpen your claws and lock your boyfriends at home. Kristin Cavallari is back on the prowl…

and she is ready for some serious action!

If you don’t know who Kristin is, I totally forgive you. Living under a rock must already be hard, so I’m not going to make things more difficult for you.

Kristin is none other than the original reality TV bad girl. The former Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County star caused so much drama there that people tuned in just to see the nasty looks she shared with another Laguna Beach star, Lauren Conrad.

Her nemesis, Lauren eventually moved to Los Angeles, California, got her own TV show called The Hills and five seasons later, left for greener pastures.

The Hills suddenly lacked a star and Kristin was more than ready to reclaim her spot in the limelight.

”(The producers of) The Hills had been asking me for the past four seasons to come on but I never did because I thought it would have been the same thing as Laguna Beach where Lauren and I fought over a guy. With her leaving, it felt like the right time,” said Kristin, in an email from Los Angeles.

If you’re not familiar with how the The Hills work, basically there is a camera crew that follows a bunch of young people around through their daily lives and capture everything (okay, most if it) that unfolds.

”I love being in front of the camera, so it was fine letting them back into my life,” said Kristin, 23.

There are sceptics – yours truly being one of them – who say that The Hills and Laguna Beach (and every other reality TV show) is scripted and what we see is not really what we’re supposed to get.

how would you explain the cast looking impeccable at all times and never saying the wrong things, even once?

”What I would say to someone who thinks The Hills is scripted is that its a TV show, just enjoy it and stop worrying about if its scripted or not,” she said.

Yikes. Point taken. Scripted or not scripted, one thing is for sure. Where there is Kristin Cavallari, there is bound to be a lot of drama and verbal fights.

”Yes, there is just as much drama (on The Hills) as Laguna Beach! What you can expect this season is a feud between Audrina (Patridge) and I and lots of relationship drama, not just with me but a few people.”

Ooh … I’m intrigued. Wonder if it has got something to do with reports that Kristin has an eye for Audrina’s ex-boyfriend, Justin Bobby? Or will Kristin ditch him for her special ‘friend’ Brody Jenner (who is Kim Kardashian’s step-brother, FYI).

Audience reaction to Kristin’s addition in The Hills has been encouraging.

If you’re worried that Kristin may be bothered by all the negative labels her ‘character’ gets on The Hills, just stop it. She’s far more than happy to carry those labels on the show.

”I love having the bad girl image. Bad girls have more fun!”

Well, I’m sure Kristin knows what she’s talking about and don’t forget to see her in action on The Hills Season 5 (Cycle 2) starting tomorrow, Feb 25 at 11pm on MTV (Astro Channel 713).

Sharm says: Kristin sure is a bad girl everybody loves to hate, but guess what? I’m on team Kristin. There’s only so much of sour-faced Lauren that one can take.
