IN this week’s Learn to Cheer, we’re taking a look at a popular stunt among intermediate and advanced level teams.

It involves a quick toss mount, followed by a liberty-inspired stunt and a tic toc, and ending with a cartwheel dismount.

To see our professional cheerleaders perform the stunt, log on to our R.AGE YouTube channel (youtube.com/RageOnlineTV) or use our iSnap feature on this page.

And as you can see, the difficulty level is pretty high, so don’t try this without a professional coach, alright?

Stunt name: Quick toss mount with cartwheel dismount
Level of difficulty: Intermediate-advanced

Step 1:
To start the quick toss stunt, the bases hold the flyer’s legs while the spotter holds her waist.

Step 2:
The bases and spotter tosses the flyer up fast and catches her in a liberty stunt on her left foot.

Step 3:
To execute a tic toc stunt, the spotter uses his right hand to hold onto the flyer’s right ankle.

Step 4:
The bases and spotter drive the flyer up, releasing her left foot and catching her right foot. The flyer transfers her weight from her left foot to her right foot and does a heel stretch.

Step 5:
The bases and spotter lowers the flyer to below shoulder level. The flyer leans to the right into a cartwheel position while the spotter catches her at the waist.

Step 6:
The spotter lowers the flyer and the bases hold her foot until the flyer cartwheels out of the stunt.
