WE hope you’re ready to scream your lungs out, because CHEER is back!

CHEER, Malaysia’s premier school cheerleading competition, will see the return of your favourite teams and the emergence of some brand-new ones as they take to the mat in pursuit of the ultimate prize – the CHEER trophy.

For the past 15 years, CHEER has been blowing minds with its combination of stunts, skills, and sheer showmanship, and this year will be no different.

Let's get loud: Here are some photos of all the action at CHEER 2014 to whet your appetite ahead of this year's competition. Get ready for even more cheerleading action, heart-stopping stunts, silly games with celebrity hosts and, of course, school spirit!

CHEER2014

However, this year is going to much more intense as there’ll be a new, exciting one-day competition format. No do-overs, no room for mistakes. The tension is going to be off the hook!

Cheerleaders all over the country train for months to participate in this competition and it shows. The level of cheerleading gets better every year!

Last year, reigning champions the Cyrens from SMK Sri Kuala Lumpur only narrowly beat rivals the Dynamitez from SMK Damansara Jaya. Who knows what will happen this year?

So mark your calenders, Cheerios, because the CHEER 2015 finals will be going down on Aug 15 at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre from 8am to 6pm. The Northern and Southern Regionals will be held at the end of July.
