No. 8 Heeren Street is a 220-year-old shop house in Malacca built by the Dutch, and recently restored by the Malaysian Heritage Trust.

Its manager, Colin Goh, gave the new members of our BRATs young journalist programme a really informative tour of the building. He told us about its construction and the lives of its inhabitants over the decades.
